A mini-expansion for the popular Cities Skylines will add tourist attractions and luxury accommodations to the game.
Hotels & Retreats is the latest update to the city-building simulation, Cities Skylines, announced via the game’s Steam page. Set to release on May 23, 2023, this mini-expansion will start players with a small hotel chain that they can expand and upgrade to unlock more luxury accommodations.
A long-requested feature in the game, players will be able to transform their thriving metropolis into an elite destination for tourists and travelers via resorts, hostels, and hotels. Once added to the base game, players will gain access to a host of new constructions, maps, and tourism buildings.
Cities Skylines Hotels & Retreats Trailer
The minute-and-a-half trailer showcases the wide array of buildings you can use to attract tourism. From a far-away nature retreat to modern, technologically advanced venues, players can select the attractions that best suit their existing cities.
In addition to announcing the new mini-expansion, Cities Skylines also announced three new upcoming Content Creator Packs, including:
- Railroads of Japan by Kaminogi
- Brooklyn & Queens by Prosper
- Industrial Revolution by Avanya
The Cities Skylines Hotels & Retreats officially launches on May 23, 2023, on PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the mini-expansion in advance on the Steam Store.
