Perhaps one of the strangest debut announcements at The Game Awards 2022 was the trailer and introduction to a new game under development called Crime Boss: Rockay City. Developed by INGAME STUDIOS, a development company based in the Czech Republic, the game looks to be a fun new entry in the heist genre. Here’s what we know so far about Crime Boss: Rockay City, including the game’s official release date.
Crime Boss: Rockay City Release Date & Trailer
According to the game’s trailer, Crime Boss: Rockay City is scheduled to release on March 28, 2023, for PC, on the Epic Games Store. Eager Steam owners may have to wait, as this seems like it’s going to be an Epic exclusive, at least at launch.

What’s the Story Behind Crime Boss: Rockay City?
Crime Boss: Rockay City is a first-person PvE shooter and action game where you assume the role of a gang leader engaged in a turf war against other gangs. With four-player multiplayer co-op enabled, you’ll steal artifacts and execute heists to become the biggest gang in Rockay City.
Probably the most interesting aspect of Crime Boss is the star-studded cast. The game includes cameos from Michael Madsen, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Chuck Norris, and the tragically underrated Michael Rooker. If early indications serve us correctly, it looks like they will actually be a part of the game, and you’ll be able to interact with them. Will that equate to a good game? Only time will tell, but it worked for Keanu Reeves and Cyberpunk 2077.
While INGAME Studios seems to be a relatively new studio, development team members have a lot of experience and have worked on previous games, including the Mafia series, the Arma series, and Silent Hill: Downpour.
Hopefully, that translates to a fun gameplay experience when the Crime Boss: Rockay City release date rolls around next year. Here are some more upcoming video game releases for PC:
