Dying Light 2 Gut Feeling Update Adds New Gory Dismemberment Physics

In addition to new blood-splattering graphics, the Dying Light 2 Gut Feeling update introduces gear transmogs to keep you crushing zombie skulls in style.

The developers of Dying Light 2, Techland, just dropped a vicious new trailer showing off some of the new brutality and gore features in the brand-new Gut Feeling update, dropping April 20, 2023. As one of the primary criticisms of the game, this will add localized damage and more realistic and bombastic blood splatter effects to your zombie slashing and smashing.

When Dying Light 2 was first released on February 3, 2022, the community received it positively, minus the initial bugs it faced. And while the game doesn’t lack in gore, some of the blood effects and combat physics were a bit less than stellar. In addition to the new physics and gore, players will also be getting new mechanics in the form of Blueprints, weapon crafting, and gear transmogs.

Dying Light 2 Gut Feeling Trailer

The little over-a-minute trailer showcases the new, blood-splattering graphics in the game. Zombies will go flying or react more realistically when hit rather than blood pouring out of open wounds.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse into the new Blueprint and weapon crafting system, which will add more depth to the underlying gameplay. The Dying Light 2 Gut Feeling update goes live on April 20, 2023.

Viral Rush Event

Like past Viral Rush events, there will be community and individual challenges for players to complete. The Dying Light 2 Viral Rush event for April runs from April 20-May 4, 2023. Players that participate can get the Rahim Bundle, which includes Rahim’s Outfit and Viral Rahim’s Outfit.
