EndeavorRx, a new video game-based digital treatment, has been shown to improve attention after six weeks of use, according to a recent study.
Whoever said that video games destroy your attention has never heard of Akili, Inc., or their new product, EndevorRx. According to a clinical trial called STARS-ADHD, their video game-based digital treatment has been shown to reduce inattention symptoms due to ADHD in children ages 8-12 and has been authorized by the FDA for use. In this most recent study, the therapy has also been shown to improve attention in those 18 and older.

- The study consisted of 221 adults 18 years of age or older.
- Patients used the therapy on a mobile device at home for six weeks.
- The study measured attention and saw a large improvement based on various scales, including the Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder Rating Scale-5 (ADHD-RS).
- 32.7% of all participants in the study demonstrated at least a 30% reduction in total scores on the ADHD-RS.
- Three-quarters of adults reported an improvement in their quality of life.
