If you love the Mario franchise, MAR10 Day is a great day to save on the biggest Mario titles.
Each year Nintendo celebrates our favorite protagonist plumber by holding an event for him on March 10. This year, MAR10 also coincides with the release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which hits theaters on April 5, 2023 — two days earlier than the original release date of April 7.
To celebrate this year, Nintendo is offering some really amazing deals, including a Nintendo Switch package that will probably fly off shelves. Starting on March 10, 2023, the Nintendo Switch Mario Choose One Bundle will become available at selected retailers and the My Nintendo Store for $299.99.
While that price tag seems pretty on par with the cost of a regular Switch, Nintendo will also be throwing in one free Mario game of your choice, including Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Players will also receive Super Mario Bros Movie limited-time stickers, so if you still don’t have a Switch, now is the perfect time to scoop one up.
Nintendo MAR10 Sales List
In addition to the in-store events at selected retailers like GameStop, players can also save money on select Mario games.
From March 5-11, 2023, players can head to select retailers to get a $20 discount on the following Mario games:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Super Mario Maker 2
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
- Mario Party Superstars & more
There will be two waves of sales celebrating our hero, starting on MAR10 day, March 10, 2023, at 12 a.m. PT and lasting until March 23, at 11:59 p.m. PT. The games that will be discounted include:
- Mario Party Superstars
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- Yoshi’s Crafted World
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
The second wave of sales comes a day after the end of the first wave, starting on March 24, 2023, at 12 a.m. PT and lasting until April 7 at 11:59 PT. The games included in the second round of sales include:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Super Mario Odyssey
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Super Mario Maker 2
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
If you planned on picking up any of the above games soon, it might be a smart idea to wait till the sale that happens later this month so you can save a few bucks.
