With the Fortnite Battle Royale V22.10 October 11 Hotfix, players are being treated to 3 new items, 2 of which are brand new, with 1 being unvaulted for the occasion. Because of the brand-new changes this hotfix brings to Fortnite, players will want to know how they can get their hands on all these items. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Goo Gun in the V22.10 Hotfix and other update details.
Fortnite Goo Gun
The latest wacky gun to be added to Fortnite, the Goo Gun, fires a line of goo that sticks to all surfaces (and players) it comes in contact with. After a few seconds, the goo will explode, causing massive damage.
While this is certainly an explosive item, players will not be able to find replacement ammunition for it. Instead, they must rely on finding it in chests and Supply Drops.
To make finding it a bit easier, the Goo Gun has an increased drop rate until the release of v22.20.
Other Special Items in the V22.10 Hotfix
On top of the fantastic Goo Gun, players can get 2 additional items, the brand-new Throwable Launch Pad and the unvaulted Shield Bubble.
The Throwable Launch Pad works just like a regular Launch Pad, except players can throw it, much like the Port-A-Bunker, to deploy it exactly when and where they need it.
In addition, the Shield Bubble can be thrown to deploy a bubble that protects players from hostile fire – unless an enemy enters the bubble.
Players can log in on October 11, 2022, to get started with these fun new items in Fortnite’s latest update. You will have to update your game.
