Fortnitemares 2022 Start Date
According to the official Fortnite Twitter, Fortnitemares 2022 will return on October 18, 2022. If their usual routine holds, Fortnitemares should run until early November. Fortnite is available on PC through the Epic Games Store, as well as the PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and even Android Devices.
What is Fortnitemares?
Fortnitemares is Fortnite’s Halloween-flavored seasonal event. Each year brings Halloween-themed cosmetics, weapons, and changes to the ever-shifting island that serves as the game’s setting. Epic Games themselves have been light on information thus far, only mentioning the release date.
The leaks and news-oriented Twitter account HypeX has offered some information, including word of a bossfight with a summoning mechanic. The post also suggests it will drop a yet-to-be-revealed Mythic weapon.
Fortnite’s constant tweaks to the formula have kept the game fresh for years, so here’s hoping the leaks are on the mark. Everyone loves a good boss fight, and we’re sure this potential Mythic weapon would be quite the prize.
