The Gooch is a seasonal character that randomly spawns in GTA Online but is only around until January 11, 2023. If you’ve struggled with finding him, we have a method that will cause him to spawn 100% of the time.
If you’re stressing because you still haven’t gotten the Gooch to spawn and you want to get his limited-time Gooch Mask and the $25,000 that comes with killing him, don’t fret–there is a way to do it. The Gooch spawns at very specific intervals, and if you’ve been playing in populated servers, there’s a chance he may never spawn on you. Luckily, we’ve found a method in GTA Online that enables him to spawn 100% of the time.
How to Get the Gooch To Spawn in GTA Online
To get the Gooch to spawn every time, create an Invite only session, then invite a friend to your game. Have your friend deposit all their cash and wait 48 minutes for the Gooch to attack you. Because your friend has no money, the Gooch will always target you 100% of the time.
You can wait another 48 minutes for the Gooch to spawn again on your friend if they have yet to get the mask. Just remember to deposit all your cash so that it spawns on them. The spawn timer on the Gooch is based on the session time, not your logged-in time, which is why it may be so rare to see him in populated servers.
One important thing to note, for the Gooch to spawn, you can’t be in passive mode. Another thing to remember is that regardless of who kills the Gooch, it’s the person he initially targets that will be able to get the rewards. So, if you want to tag team him with your friend, that’s more than possible, and you’ll gain the rewards regardless of who lands the killing blow.
Lonewolf’s beware–the Gooch will not spawn if you’re in a session alone. You need at least 2 players in each session.
