How to Get a Bed in Shadows of Doubt

If you’re looking to rest in Shadows of Doubt, you’ll need a bed to sleep on.

Shadows of Doubt is a new indie detective game where players assume the role of a private investigator and must solve crimes. If you’re looking to lay low and pass some hours during certain times of day, you can sleep in your bed. However — getting a bed is easier said than done, so we created this quick guide.

How to Get a Bed in Shadows of Doubt

To get a bed in Shadows of Doubt, visit your apartment, open your inventory, and click the Edit decor button. Doing this will open a new menu that allows you to customize your apartment for a fee. Click the Furnishings tab, click the Shop button, and scroll down to find a Bedroll or Vintage Bed. Finally, left-click (A/X on controller) to place your bed.

Players can also type bed in the search bar if they are having trouble finding it in the Furnishings tab. You can place the bed wherever you want if there is enough space.

Once you build a bed, you can walk up to it and interact with it to sleep. Sleeping will pass the time but will also increase your hunger and thirst. If you are addicted to a substance, you’ll also wake up wanting the substance.

If you played through the tutorial, you should already have an apartment. Otherwise, you’ll need to buy one by finding offers next to payphones in restaurants and bars.
