There could be many reasons you want to merge Fortnite accounts together. Perhaps you have two accounts with different achievements. Or maybe you have an old account that has some early items you want to showcase, but you mainly play Fortnite on a different account. Regardless of the reason, here’s what you need to know about how to merge Fortnite accounts.
How to Merge Fortnite Accounts
According to Epic Games, it is no longer possible to merge two Fortnite accounts. The feature was once a possibility when Fortnite introduced crossplay, but the functionality was only supported for a limited time.
You can, however, connect an Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch account to your Epic Games account by visiting the Accounts Connection page. Once logged in to your Epic Games account, visit the Apps & Accounts page, and navigate to the Accounts tab.
From the Apps & Accounts page on Epic Games, you can press the connect button to link your Epic Games account to a variety of third-party platforms, including Steam, Github, Twitch, Xbox, PlayStation Network, and a Nintendo Account.
Since merging Fortnite accounts is no longer possible, you’ll want to ensure your link up your accounts whenever you play Fortnite on a new device. Failing to do so will essentially leave you with two unmergeable accounts. That can be frustrating in the long run, but as long as you link accounts initially, you won’t run into any problems.
