Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test Registration Details

Mortal Kombat 1 will release later this year in August, but WB Games and developers NetherRealm Studios plan to hold a stress test at an undisclosed date in the near future.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on MK1, you may get an early opportunity via the online Stress Test that WB Games just announced today. This test will be open to players in North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe, and an internet connection is required to participate.

How to Sign Up for the MK1 Online Stress Test

To sign up for the stress test, visit the official MK1 Stress Test Registration page and create a WB account if you don’t already have one. From here, you’ll be able to opt into the stress test and will be notified when it begins.

The stress test is only available for users on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S. It will not be available for those on the Nintendo Switch or PC.

The MK1 Stress Test will include 1 vs. 1 online multiplayer and a single-player Klassic Towers mode against A.I.

When Will the MK1 Stress Test Happen?

The date for the stress test has not been announced. According to the game’s creators:

We’ll confirm specific timing at a later date.

Mortal Kombat 1 will serve as a reboot of the franchise, taking players back to the original time period when the first game occurred. This time, Liu Kang will have his god powers, creating a multiple-universe dynamic in the world.
