Roots of Pacha’s long development journey was started by two brothers, Timo and Jhony — who make up the indie studio Soda Den. Tomorrow, on April 25, 2023, their game, the stone-age coop farming sim, Roots of Pacha, will be making its way to Steam.
Roots of Pacha Release Date and Platforms
Roots of Pacha will release on April 25, 2023, for PC via Steam. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox releases are also planned for the future, after the PC release, with the Switch likely being the next platform available to players.
Roots of Pacha Trailer
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer for the game features some of the gameplay players will experience when Roots of Pacha launches on April 25. In the trailer, players get a taste of the farming and harvesting mechanics, mounts, upgrading your village, and the various clan-related activities you can partake in.

Roots of Pacha Gameplay
In Roots of Pacha, players start a rudimentary stone-age civilization by inventing tools, finding food, learning how to preserve food, and developing metalworking, pottery, and art. The game touts extreme customization, enabling players to play however they want. For instance, there are meat, vegetarian, and vegan options for your clan, full character cosmetic customization, and construction design customization.
Outside of titles like Don’t Starve Together, there are not many options for isometric survival coop games, so the fact that the game features up to a 4-player coop makes this a fairly unique experience.
