S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the highly-anticipated follow-up to one of the first survival extraction games, has just launched a new gameplay trailer called “Come To Me” that features a sneak-peek look into the game, which launches in 2023.
Fans of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. have been waiting for over a decade for an official sequel to the critical and fan success. Though murmurs, including a gameplay teaser, were launched over the past few years, little was known about the actual game or the state that it would be in upon launch. And, while there have been other entries in the franchise, a true sequel to the original has yet to surface.
Thankfully, Ukrainian developers of the game, GSC Game World, have finally broken their silence with a brand new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl gameplay trailer for fans to check out.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer showcases some next-gen graphics that will grace the game. In addition, some of the story is revealed, including background on the experiments that led to the creation of the Zone.
Fans of the first game will be delighted to hear that the second game seems to tie into the first–along with higher quality graphics and what seems like very smooth mechanics and a minimal HUD.
While no hard release date has been set, the developers have revealed the game will release sometime in 2023.
In another great piece of news, while the game won’t launch with multiplayer support, it will get added to the game post-launch, according to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 website.
