Warzone 2 just released, and you know what that means–everyone is grinding it out, trying to find the best loadout. We’re here to present you with our best M4 loadout in Warzone 2, optimized for as little recoil as possible for maximum beaming potential.
In the guide below, we put together five attachments for the M4 that reduce recoil and maximize damage. With the best M4 loadout in Warzone 2, you’ll have a laser beam of a weapon that tears through anything in your sights at mid to long range.
Best M4 Loadout in Warzone 2
The M4 is the first assault rifle you unlock in Modern Warfare II, and not surprisingly, it’s one of the best in the game. As Warzone 2 is finally available, players may be wondering what the best attachments are to throw onto the M4. The best M4 loadout we’ve come up with reduces the recoil to almost nothing and provides a great time-to-kill and fire rate.
Here is the best M4 loadout in Warzone 2:
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
Sound suppression is key in battle royale games, so we can immediately narrow down the options. The Harbinger D20 adds sound suppression, bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil smoothness. Those stats come at the cost of a slower aim down sight speed, worse aiming stability, and a slower aim walking speed. Tune the muzzle for more aim down sight speed and bullet velocity.
The Hightower 20″ Barrel is the longest barrel of the options, offering substantial weight and length for highly accurate and controlled gunfire. It provides higher bullet velocity, damage range, recoil control, and hip fire accuracy. The pros come at the cost of slower aim-down sight speed, movement speed, and worse hip recoil control. Tune this attachment to crank up the damage range and recoil steadiness.
Recoil is the name of the game for this loadout, and one underbarrel grip reigns supreme. The FTAC Ripper 56 is a snappy foregrip that provides added recoil control and fast, accurate shots. It provides more aiming idle stability, hip fire accuracy, and recoil stabilization. The pros come at the cost of slower aim-down sight speed and walking speed. Tune it for more recoil stabilization and aiming idle stability.
Ammunition count is always something to consider, so we find it useful to run big magazines. That said, the 60 Round Mag is the largest option at our disposal. It slightly hinders our mobility, but it’s nothing that should matter too much if you’re running with a squad that has your back. You might consider using the 45 Round Mag or eliminating the magazine for solo play.
You don’t need us to tell you that the optic is a personal preference. Personally, we like the VLK 4.0 Optic, but you may choose something else, such as the SZ SPRO-7. You will have the glint now with the 4.0 magnification, so if that’s something you’re worried about, you might opt for a precision sight picture. Tune the slider to the far eye position to help with the visual recoil.
