ARMORED CORE VI Unleashes New Story Trailer

The new trailer shows what players can expect when the game releases this August.

If you were always a big fan of the mech-based combat in the ARMORED CORE series, you have yet another reason to get hype as Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, the publisher and developer of the title, released a new story trailer today.

The three-and-a-half minute video showcases the dark and gritty aesthetic many online compare to another highly popular FromSoftware title, Elden Ring

In the video, players can glimpse some of the high-octane combat they can expect when the game releases later this year, on August 25, 2023.

Watch the official story trailer for ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON below:

In the trailer, the sentient mech inquires what happened to the rest of the squad and previous mechs as it’s rebooted in what looks like a long-abandoned garage. It asks its Handler, Walter, questions about why it was disabled before launching for another time to lead an assault on a powerful enemy.

The trailer also shows a quick glimpse of what looks like a cryo-sleep-type chamber, teasing the return of human handlers from previous entries in the ARMORED CORE franchise.
