Atomic Heart Annihilation Instinct DLC Announced

The first DLC for Atomic Heart will drop this summer.

Atomic Heart has just announced its first DLC, Annihilation Instinct, set to launch on August 2, 2023. This marks the debut of the Atomic Pass series of DLCs, currently available at a 40% discount until June 29 with the Gold and Premium editions of Atomic Heart.

The Annihilation Instinct DLC is packed with fresh content designed to enhance the Atomic Heart experience. This includes a new area, weapons, enemies, and a new glove ability. The DLC also introduces a new enigmatic character and brings back familiar faces in unexpected circumstances.

New Weapons and Abilities

Players will face off against new shape-shifting enemies using two innovative weapons – the ranged Secateur and the melee Klusha – and a new Techno-Stasis ability that allows time manipulation. The developers of the game, Mundfish, released a short trailer giving players a sneak peak on what they can expect this summer.

The highly requested New Game+ mode is now available. In this challenging mode, players will need all their previously unlocked skills and arsenal to combat the toughest enemies Atomic Heart has ever seen.

Continuing the Story

In the Annihilation Instinct DLC, players will continue the story of Atomic Heart, delving deeper into the dystopian world post-climax. The journey takes players through the new Mendeleev Complex and its surrounding swamps, revealing the truth about NORA as Major P-3 is drawn back into Facility 3826.

The Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC releases on August 2. Players can purchase the DLC on the Steam Store page closer to release.
