Cyberpunk 2077’s Edgerunners update added five brand new melee weapons to the game. If you’re a fan of the chainswords, you’re in luck because a new one is now available at your local melee weapon vendor. This guide will show you where to find the Cut-o-Matic Chainsword in Cyberpunk 2077 and give a brief overview of how it works.
Where to Get the Cut-o-Matic Chainsword in Cyberpunk 2077
The Cut-o-Matic Chainsword can be purchased from the Melee Weapon Vendor in West Wind Estate, Pacifica, for about 30,000 Eurodollars. The easiest way to get to the location is by fast traveling to the West Wind Apartments fast travel point and walking east.
The Cut-o-Matic comes in various rarities, including Uncommon, Rare, and Epic. We could not find a Legendary Cut-o-Matic, so we cannot verify that it currently exists.
Keep in mind the weapon shop vendor’s inventory is random. You may not see the weapon the first time you visit the weapon shop. Use the skip time feature and skip ahead for at least 24 hours to refresh the vendor’s inventory.
Cut-o-Matic Weapon Stats
The Cut-o-Matic is a Chainsword that comes with two empty melee mod slots and the Blade modifier. It can also roll four random stats, including bonus physical damage, crit chance, crit damage, and bleeding chance. As with all weapons, the DPS will vary depending on your level and perks.
The Blade modifier makes the weapon Sharp and lethal, increasing the overall damage significantly. Overall, this thing is fun to use and packs a punch. If you love melee weapons, especially a cross between a machete and a chainsaw, we recommend picking this one up immediately.
Forget about stealth with this weapon.
