Dead by Daylight is working on its next character. Canadian Developer Behaviour Interactive released a new Twitter post today, teasing their newest Chapter: Forged in Fog. Here’s what we know so far about Dead by Daylight Chapter 26 based on the Forged in Fog teaser trailer.

What is Forged in Fog?

Forged in Fog is the upcoming Chapter 26 update to Dead by Daylight. Behaviour has only offered a short teaser video so far but promised more info soon.

The Twitter post mentions “plated steel” and the teaser shows a battered straight sword with a serrated edge backed by an ominous metallic clang. More details are coming November 1. No word yet on a new Survivor, which typically accompanies the Killer featured in each new Chapter. Each Chapter also brings new Perks to enhance Player playstyles, which will hopefully be revealed November 1.

The DBDLeaks Twitter account revealed a Knight-themed Killer being planned in May. This was back before the Resident Evil: Project W details were even officially revealed. The DBDLeaks account also made claims regarding that Chapter which were accurate. There’s currently no proof of their later claim of a For Honor influence for Forged in Fog. In the meantime, the Haunted by Daylight event is still running, giving Players plenty to do while they wait. We hope this Chapter brings new fun and scares for both sides of the Player base.
