Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets (November 8, 2022)

Looking for a shortcut? Up your Killer or Survivor Game with this week’s Shrine of Secrets.

The Shrine of Secrets in Dead by Daylight offers fresh Perks for Survivor and Killer players. Now’s a good time for players to visit the Shrine and get some new tools to use in the Trials. Read ahead for the Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for November 8, 2022.

Shrine of Secrets is a special rotating Perk store in DbD. Players can trade in Iridescent Shards to unlock up to 4 Perks for their characters per week, enabling players to bypass the usual method of leveling up the character that holds those perks to Prestige 1 (or more).

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets (November 8, 2022)

These are the DbD Shrine of Secrets Killer and Survivor Perks for November 8, 2022:

  • Blood Warden
  • Furtive Chase
  • Urban Evasion
  • Quick and Quiet

Shrine of Secrets Killer Perk Breakdown

On the Killer side, the Shrine has the Perks Blood Warden and Furtive Chase.

Blood Warden is an Endgame Perk that blocks the exits (not the exit gates, the exits themselves) for up to 60 seconds after a Hook. This Perk is a little predictable but can still crush teams of Survivors that go for last-minute saves.

Furtive Chase is an Obsession-focused Perk. It grants stacks for each Obsession Hook that decreases the Killer’s Terror Radius while in a chase, making Survivors less certain of how close they are. This works best in environments where it’s easy to break line of sight.

Shrine of Secrets Survivor Perk Breakdown

For the Survivors, the Shrine offers the Perks Urban Evasion and Quick & Quiet. These Perks both emphasize stealth but for different situations.

Urban Evasion is for avoiding being spotted by the Killer. Survivors move at a faster speed while crouched and thus don’t sacrifice as much mobility for stealth.

Quick & Quiet is meant to be used during Chases. Survivors can quickly vault a Window/Pallet or enter a Locker without the usual Noise Notification for the Killer. This can buy time or, in the right situation, break the chase entirely. It works best with other Vaulting Perks such as Lithe or Dance With Me.

Remember, Players that have unlocked these Perks can still use the Shrine of Secrets. Perks already unlocked at level 1 will go to level 2, then 3. Players that have fully unlocked a Perk in the Shrine can instead trade 2000 Iridescent Shards for 100,000 Bloodpoints for each fully-unlocked Perk.
