Dead by Daylight The Knight’s Perks Tier List

  • Nowhere to Hide: B-Tier
  • Hex: Face The Darkness: B-Tier
  • Hubris: C-Tier

Nowhere to Hide

This Perk’s big selling points are easy activation and synergy with other Perks. It specifically activates on Damaging (kicking) a Generator. Common Regression Perks like Overcharge and Call of Brine also activate this way, and both benefit from the Aura Reading this grants.

This Perk will be strongest in 3-Gen situations or against teams that prefer hiding over running. If it also worked off other sources of Generator Damage like Jolt or Eruption we’d put it in A-tier.

Hex: Face The Darkness

This Perk benefits stealth Killers like The Wraith massively. Getting info on the entire team in exchange for landing a single hit is awesome. Survivors can see their Cursed Teammate’s Aura, but that doesn’t help against Killers that are fast, stealthy, or both. It might be good to run this with Hex: Thrill of the Hunt or Hex: Undying to protect its totem.

Hubris

At first glance this Perk is amazing: Survivors get Exposed and vulnerable to one-hit Downs for 20 seconds after Stunning the Killer. The problems come up when we start thinking about this in practice.

  1. 20 seconds is a small window, especially for a Killer that just ate a Pallet or Blind.
  2. Exposed only affects Basic Attacks, limiting who it can work with.
  3. After the first Down, everyone knows the Killer has it and can plan for it.

Even in a build meant to make the most of it, Killers will likely get 1, maybe 2, Downs out of it in a match. We have Perks like Hex: Haunted Ground that can do this better, while other Counter-Perks such as Lightborn are less obvious about their effects.
