Motion Twin has just released the latest Dead Cells update, called Boss Rush, on PC. The update is also coming soon to consoles. In the new update, players can put their skills to the test against 3 or 5 bosses back-to-back to unlock some new goodies. Here’s everything you need to know about the Dead Cells Boss Rush update.
What’s new in the Dead Cells Boss Rush Update?
Here’s a rundown of what’s new in the Dead Cells Boss Rush update:
- Four Boss Rush stages
- New weapon, skill, and mutation
- Eight new skins
- Customizable Statue
- New Legendary Affixes
How to Do Boss Rush in Dead Cells
To do Boss Rush in Dead Cells, go through the basement door in the Prisoner’s Quarters and follow the corridor until you come to the third door with the red boss head near it. Go through the door, and you’ll see four more doors that lead to the different Boss Rush stages:
- Three bosses back-to-back
- Three enhanced bosses back-to-back
- Five bosses back-to-back
- Five enhanced bosses back-to-back
The three-boss stages pit you against one tier 1 boss, one tier 2 boss, and one tier 3 boss. For the five-boss mode, you’ll be fighting two tier 1 bosses, two tier 2 bosses, and one tier 3 boss.
The Dead Cells boss tiers are:
- Tier 1: Concierge, Conjunctivius, Mama Tick
- Tier 2: Time Keeper, The Giant, The Scarecrow
- Tier 3: Hand of the King, The Servants, The Queen
Players can choose between Brutality, Tactics, or Survival at the start of each stage. These give you stats based on the one you chose, along with a relevant amulet and a choice of builds.
What are Enhanced Bosses in Dead Cells?
Enhanced bosses are supercharged bosses with extra ways to destroy you, like extra limbs, healing powers, and more adds.
