Cyberpunk and video games are a classic combination. The sci-fi subgenre opens up plenty of possibilities for weapons, enemies, and abilities, things that would never fly in a conventional military sim or shooter. On that front, Gruby Entertainment and Super Good Games have teamed up to bring us Deadlink early access is now available.

What is Deadlink Early Access?
Deadlink is a cyberpunk-themed first-person shooter with roguelite elements. Players must invade the MegaCorp environments while controlling combat shells. As part of the Corporate Security Agency, players fight until their shell is destroyed, then upgrade their abilities before returning to the fray.

Customization is Key in Deadlink
Dead Link emphasizes agility and customization. The environments are moderate-to-large-sized arenas that sport multiple floors, and obstacles players must weave around to survive.
The different shells have access to different abilities and weapons. In roguelike tradition, Players will gain additional boons as a run proceeds to further improve their arsenal and tweak how they play. From cybernetic enhancements to weapon mods, players gain more power to combat new threats.
The game reminds us of Duoyi Game’s Gunfire Reborn but is faster-paced and centered around aggressive play. The devs say the core gameplay and progression system are complete; they want playtesting and feedback to ensure everything is performing.
