Deathloop Comes to Xbox and PC Game Pass on September 20

An award winning FPS from Arkane Lyon

Deathloop is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass on September 20. The game, developed by Arkane Studios from popular titles like Dishonored, was released on PC and PlayStation 5 back in September 2021 to a mostly positive reception.

The news was announced at the Tokyo Game Show Xbox 2022 stream, which is available on YouTube.

The game blends an interesting mix of stealth and action gameplay, allowing players to find their own way to play it and enjoy the story. In the next-gen FPS game, two rival assassins find themselves stuck in a time loop on Blackreef.

Players control an assassin named Colt and need to take out eight Visionaries across Blackreef before midnight. Failure to do so will ensure the assassin is doomed to relive the same day over again. Death is no escape, either, as Colt will end up at the beginning of the time loop upon waking up.

Avoid or eliminate the guards, and take out the eight targets in a single loop. Play solo or try out the multiplayer mode, where players can take on the role of Julianna.

Julianna’s an agent whose sole job is to take out Colt. As this character, players can enter a random player’s game and interfere with their play, replacing the computer-controlled Juliana.

Check out Deathloop on Xbox and PC Game Pass on September 20. PlayStation owners who have PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium can also join in on the action on September 20.
