What is Deep Rock Galactic Season 3: Plaguefall?

What is New in the Deep Rock Galatic Season 3 Update?

New events, enemies, and cosmetics are all joining the Deep Rock Galactic experience. Infected Meteoroids will spawn on missions, requiring a lengthy process to crack open for the valuable Plague Hearts inside. The Rockpox also infects enemies, so the assorted bugs of Hoxxes IV have new tricks.

As usual, Deep Rock Galactic R&D is glad to help the dwarves with the new threat, offering 1 new grenade type per class. We’re especially excited for the Gunner’s Tactical Leadburster, for Players who thought the “Lead Storm” minigun wasn’t nearly enough.

More conventional trappings of a new season are here, too, including a new Performance Pass. As usual, Players can trade in company Scrip for cosmetics and other rewards.

The developers have stressed that the Season 2 Pass items will still be available for Players that want them. It’s good to see Deep Rock Galactic offering new content for veterans and greenbeards alike, and we wish it the best.
