Diablo 2 Resurrected Public Test Realm patch 2.6 is now officially live, as per a tweet from the official Diablo account. It’s the first testing period of the new year, and the highlight of the PTR is eight new Rune Words.
Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR 2.6 is live from January 24 to January 31, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
According to Blizzard, the eight new Rune Words for Ladder and Offline Single-Player play will shake up the competitive meta. However, the new Rune Words are not the only focus of this patch.

Bulwark
- Rune Word: Shael + Io + Sol
- Items: Helm

- +4-6% Life stolen per hit

- Replenish Life +30

Players looking to participate in the public test, also known as the Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR, will need to download and install the Blizzard Battle.net desktop client.
On the Diablo 2 Resurrected screen, look for the dropdown menu next to the Play button, and select PTR: Diablo II: Resurrected. Then, click Install to start the installation process.
