The seasonal resets and updates keep players coming back for more. The upcoming season introduces some exciting changes, which begs the question, when does Diablo 3 Season 27 start?

When does Diablo 3 Season 27 start?

Update: Diablo 3 Season 27 officially starts on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET.

Original: There is not yet an official start time for Diablo 3 Season 27. The season officially began on the Public Test Realm (PTR) on July 12, allowing players to test the new Angelic Crucible consumable items, new item sets, and other content changes. The Season 27 PTR is expected to end on July 28, giving players a 16-day testing period.

However, there is always a gap between the end date of PTR and the launch of a new season. Developers need time to implement fixes and consider community feedback before committing to a launch date. Many players anticipate Season 27 will launch on or around August 12.

We’ll keep you posted when Blizzard officially confirms the Diablo 3 Season 27 release date. Until then, all reports are speculation. In the meantime, you can check out a list of Season 27 details on the official Blizzard website.

How to play the Diablo 3 Season 27 PTR

After installing the Diablo 3 Season 27 PTR updates, you can launch the Public Test Realm from the Battle.net client and start playing. A PTR account will be created for you automatically if you don’t have one.

Find and click on the PTR Copy button, select your region, and hit “copy.” Log back in, and you should see a full copy of all your characters from that specific region.
