Here’s what you need to know about the Diablo 4 End Game Beta.

The Diablo 4 End Game Beta will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Cross-play and cross-progression are also supported.

What are the Requirements for the Diablo 4 Closed End Game Beta?

Blizzard will use gameplay data to invite players who have spent significant amounts of time playing the endgame experiences in Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Players who do not receive a Diablo 4 Closed Beta invite by November 18 were not selected.

Diablo 4’s public testing phase begins in early 2023. So, if you weren’t invited to the Closed Beta, you’ll have another opportunity to try things out early.

What Events are in the Diablo 4 Closed End Game Beta?

Players participating in the Diablo 4 Closed End Game Beta will be testing the following in-game systems:

  • Helltide
  • Nightmare Dungeons
  • Whispers of the Dead
  • Fields of Hatred
  • Paragon Boards

Helltide

Helltide is a region-wide event that becomes available after reaching World Tier Three: Nightmare. Lilith’s servants will occasionally drop Cinders, a currency to spend on Helltide Chests scattered through the region. Chests can contain boons for item slots, but be careful because dying means you lose your Cinders.

Nightmare Dungeons

Nightmare-difficulty dungeons unlock when you locate your first Nightmare Sigil. Each sigil corresponds to a particular dungeon, adding special modifiers to the dungeon, increasing the difficulty, and providing better rewards. Players can obtain powerful sigils by venturing through greater difficulties.

Whispers of the Dead

Whispers of the Dead are tasks that unlock after completing a specific main questline. They reward experience, gold, and Grim Favors. Whispers rotate, with new ones unlocking throughout the day, and each offers different rewards. Exchange 10 Grim Favors to obtain a bounty of loot for your efforts.

Fields of Hatred

Fields of Hatred are Diablo 4’s PvP zones. While inside, players can take down demons to get Seeds of Hatred to smash into Red Dust at the Altar of Extraction. Red Dust cannot be lost, but players can take Seeds of Hatred from other players by killing them in the Fields of Hatred. These currencies can be spent on cosmetics and mounts for PvP.

Paragon Boards

After reaching level 50, players get access to Paragon Boards. It’s an endgame paragon progression system where players can accumulate Paragon points, which can be spent to unlock new sockets, tiles, and more boards to make your character more powerful.
