Leaked in February on the Diablo 3 subreddit by a KFC franchise owner, KFC is partnering with Blizzard Entertainment to run a promotional event to get free Diablo 4 beta keys for the Early Access Beta that begins on March 17 to March 19.
KFC customers who order the Double Down sandwich starting on March 9 through the KFC app or website will receive an exclusive code for the Diablo 4 beta months before the game officially releases.
How to Redeem a Diablo 4 Beta Code
To redeem a Diablo 4 beta code:
- Log in to your Battle.net account
- Visit the Diablo 4 Beta Code redemption page
- Enter your code in the code redemption field
- Select your platform
- Hit the Redeem button
You will be redirected to a success page, assuming the key is valid. PC players will unlock access right away through the Battle.net account. Console players will need to look out for a platform-specific code to download the Beta — the email is sent to your email address associated with your Battle.net account.
If you don’t have a KFC near you, don’t worry — the Diablo 4 Open Beta begins the following week on March 24 through the weekend. The Diablo 4 Early Access Beta is also available for fans who pre-order the game.
Diablo 4 is available for pre-order on the official Blizzard website. Visit the website, tap on the pre-purchase button, select your platform, and order the game. You’ll then be guaranteed access to both the Early Access Beta, as well as the Open Beta the following week, which is open to everyone.
Again, the Diablo 4 beta dates are as follows:
- Early Access: March 17-19
- Open Beta: March 24-26
