During today’s Diablo 4 developer live stream, the team announced another opportunity for players to check out the game next month. Here’s everything you need to know about the Diablo 4 Server Slam Weekend event.
Diablo 4 Server Slam Weekend Schedule & Details
Diablo 4 Server Slam is a stress test event that begins on May 12 and ends on May 14. The event begins on May 12 at 3 p.m. ET and ends on May 14 at 3 p.m. ET. The event is open to everyone on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 and includes couch co-op for consoles, as well as cross-play and cross-progress for all platforms.
The purpose of the stress test is to overload the servers with as many people as possible to help gather data and prepare for the Diablo 4 launch on June 6. It’s also a great opportunity for players who missed out on the Open Beta rewards to claim them. Here’s a list of all the rewards up for grabs during the May 12 Diablo 4 Stress Test:
- Initial Casualty Title – reach Kyovashad on a single character
- Early Voyager Title – reach level 20 on a single character
- Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic – reach level 20 on a single character
- Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy – defeat Ashava with one level 20 character
In addition to rewards, it’s also a nice opportunity for players to try out the first act’s World Boss, Ashava. One thing to note is that character progress from Early Access and Open Beta does not carry over to Server Slam. The level cap is Level 20, and the legendary item drop rate has been increased temporarily.
What content will be available in the Diablo 4 Server Slam?
Server Slam will feature the prologue and the entirety of Act 1, Fractured Peaks.
What classes are available to play during the Diablo 4 Server Slam?
All classes will be open, which includes Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer.

Players can pre-download the game starting on May 10 at 3 p.m. ET. Players on PC can download it through the Battle.net client, while Xbox players can do so from the Xbox Store, and PlayStation players can do so through the PlayStation Store. Xbox Live Gold and PSPlus subscriptions are not required in most regions but will be required on full launch to access some multiplayer features.
