Does Diablo 4 Support Split-Screen Couch Co-Op?

Slaying demons with friends is always a good time.

Slaying demons in Diablo 4 is always a little more fun with some friends. And with the beta fast approaching, many players are wondering if Diablo 4 supports split-screen couch co-op. It’s the perfect game for it, after all, right? Here’s everything you need to know about co-op, including whether or not you can play the Diablo 4 beta in split-screen on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Does Diablo 4 support split-screen couch co-op?

Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4 supports multiplayer co-op and split-screen couch co-op. The feature is available in the beta and onward and is supported on all platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. There’s no split-screen support for PC. Each player will need access to their own Battle.net accounts to play co-op.

Does the Diablo 4 beta support couch co-op?

The Diablo 4 beta supports couch co-op, and only a single player will be required to have official access to the beta. However, the second player will still need to have their Battle.net and console accounts linked.

In other words, if only one person has access to the Diablo 4 beta, the other player can still play couch co-op as long as they link up their Battle.net account. So, if you’ve got beta access and one of your friends is dying to play the Diablo 4 beta, invite them over to slay some demons with you!

Diablo 4 supports a four-player co-op experience, so you can invite three other friends to start the party. Two of those players can even be playing locally in split-screen couch co-op! As an added bonus, slaying demons with a nearby party member grants you a 10% experience bonus. Not bad, right?
