You are bound to encounter locked treasures on your quests through Sanctuary in Diablo 4. Some chests require special keys to open, known as Whispering Keys. Whispering Keys are obtained from the Purveyor of Cruisories, an NPC in major towns like Kyovashad that sells a variety of items in exchange for Obols. Obols are a form of currency in Diablo 4 that can be obtained by random events that occur in Sanctuary.
The Purveyor of Curiosities is Diablo 4’s “gambling” vendor, where players can trade Obols for random items. Here’s a list of items you can gamble in Diablo 4, along with their prices:
- Main Hand: 50 Obols
- Off Hand: 40 Obols
- Two-Hand: 75 Obols
- Cap: 40 Obols
- Tunic: 40 Obols
- Gloves: 25 Obols
- Boots: 25 Obols
- Pants: 40 Obols
- Ring: 40 Obols
- Amulet: 60 Obols
- Whispering Key: 20 Obols
You can easily find the Purveyor of Curiosities in any town by opening the map and looking for the icon of a stack of coins and a bag with a question mark on it. In Kyovashad, this NPC is located on the southeast side of town.
