Where to Get Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal

Here's everything you need to know about Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal, including what it does and where to get it.

Diablo Immortal has many types of in-game currency, and memorizing what everything does can cause information overload for new players. If you are wondering how to awaken items and how to get the item you need to do it, then this guide is for you. Below, we’ll explain where to get Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal, including how much it costs and what it does for your items.

What is Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal?

Dawning Echo is an awakening material that is used to awaken the power of Legendary items. Every Legendary item in the game has an “awakening power.” That additional power gets added to the item and will improve one of your class’s skills. If you’re looking to max out your character, you will need one Dawning Echo for each slot (six in total) for 6000 Eternal Orbs. Awakening a piece of gear also allows you to socket six more gems into it, for added resonance.

Where to Get Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal?

To get Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal, you can visit Yverius, the Smithing Material vendor in Westmarch. Speak with Yverius and browse the Reforge Stones tab. At the bottom of the list you should see Dawning Echos available for 1000 Eternal Orbs.

Yes, you read that right–these things cost 1000 Eternal Orbs. Awakening your Legendary items is only possible by purchasing a Dawning Echo for Eternal Orbs, which you can only acquire with cold hard cash.

How to Use Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal

After acquiring a Dawning Echo from the Smithing Material Vendor, you can visit Vic, the Master Jeweler in Westmarch. Speak with Vic, and choose the Gem Resonance option. Select the item you want to Awaken, place a Rank 10 Legendary Gem inside of it, and then awaken your item.

How to Use Dawning Echo in Diablo Immortal

You can only awaken Legendary pieces with a Rank 10 gem inside them. Once awakened, your item slot is Awakened forever. However, the awakening power will only be active when a Rank 10 Legendary Gem is inside it. That means the awakening will go inactive if you were to swap out your Rank 10 Legendary Gem for a lower-ranked gem.

Using a Dawning Echo is how you get “purple gear,” or Legendary gear with the purple outline. When the awakening is active, the purple outline will be bright. When the awakening is inactive, the purple outline is darker. Awakened gear opens up the ability to socket six more gems inside the piece.
