Diablo Immortal Patch Notes (September 1)

The Season Four Battle Pass has arrived to Diablo Immortal.

Hell just got a little scarier as Diablo Immortal enters into its fourth season. We’ve got a brand new battle pass with some sleek cosmetics, two new Helliquary bosses, two limited-time events, a returning event, and some minor feature updates. Diablo Immortal Season Four begins on September 1, and here’s a look at the patch notes to see what’s new.

Diablo Immortal Patch Notes (September 1)

The Diablo Immortal patch notes for the September 1 update include:

Season Four Battle Pass: Inner Light

The new update introduces Diablo Immortal’s fourth Season Battle Pass. Season Four: Inner Light begins on September 1 at 3:00 a.m. server time. As always, there are two paid tracks to complete: Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.

The Empowered Battle Pass includes all rank rewards from the free standard pass, along with additional bonuses such as the Inner Light Weapon cosmetics at rank one, and the Inner Light Armor cosmetic at rank 40.

The Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass features the aforementioned rewards, plus the Inner Light Avatar Frame, Portal cosmetic, and a helpful 10-rank boost.

Helliquary Boss: Gishtur and Beledwe

We’ve got two new bosses on the way for Helliquary. Rayek has located Gishtur and Beledwe, two demonic threats that must be dealt with to protect the Sanctuary. Though it’s two bosses, these two threats combined are considered the fourth Helliquary boss.

Beledwe is a flame trident-wielding demon that summons burning orbs that seek out adventurers. Gishtur has a deadly whirlwind attack and a punishing move that destroys allies standing too close to one another.

You’ll need a Combat Rating of at least 4665 to defend the sanctuary from these threats. The new bosses make their way into Diablo Immortal on September 2 at 3:00 a.m. server time. Visit the Einfrinn Tree in Westmarch with your squad to put your power to the test. Eliminate the evil to get the Twin Horns, an item granting a 10% cooldown reduction to your skills in Challenge Rifts.

Hungering Moon

The Hungering Moon event is also making a return. Who keeps forgetting to feed this thing? Anyway, adventurers will have another opportunity to earn Moonslivers and gain some minor rewards for not much effort.

Limited-Time Events: The Scorched Sea and Mists of Cyrangar

The Scorched Sea begins on September 14 and ends on September 28 at 3 a.m. server time. Complete daily Scorched Sea tasks to gather various rewards for your heroes. Completing enough tasks will unlock milestone rewards, including the Scorched Sea Portrait Frame.

The Mists of Cyrangar begins on September 21 and ends on September 30 at 3 a.m. server time. Take part in this LTE by visiting the Events page to get some mysterious rewards. A bonus XP buff will activate for players under Server Paragon to help prepare for the dangers.

Features

There are two new features introduced in the latest patch, one of which has been long overdue:

  1. Legendary Gem Lock Function: Legendary Gem tooltips now have a lock button feature, preventing players from accidentally consuming a gem while upgrading.
  2. Cosmetic Slot Addition: A new Wing Slot has been added to the Inventory Cosmetics interface. After equipping Resonance Wings, equipping new outfits will no longer remove them by default.
