Anyone familiar with the Diablo series of games knows looting things is the best part of the game. Not all loot is good, though, and you’ll probably want to sell or get rid of 99% of the items you find. Rather than sell them, you can Salvage them to get upgrade materials to spend on your better items. In this guide, we’ll show you how to Salvage items in Diablo Immortal.
How to Salvage Items in Diablo Immortal
To salvage items in Diablo Immortal, speak with the Blacksmith NPC in any town and tap on Services. Select the items you’d like to Salvage, and then tap on the Salvage button to destroy them for resources. Items break down into upgrade materials. Additionally, any materials previously used to upgrade your gear get refunded through the salvaging process.
If you find yourself with a full inventory while you’re out adventuring, you can tap on your minimap on the top right of your screen. From there, tap on the portal button on the bottom right and teleport to the nearest safe zone. The safe zones will always contain a Blacksmith, which is where you can salvage your stuff.
When you have a ton of items to salvage, you can tap on the Salvage all button at the bottom of the Salvage menu. Select the rarity of the item you want to auto-select, and it will highlight them all for you. You do not have to go through and click each item one by one.
Salvaging items gives you Scrap Materials, which you can use along with Gold to upgrade the rank of your gear. Upgrading items require other resources, such as Enchanted Dust and other upgrade materials. Upgrade materials are acquired through salvaging, as well as through the battle pass if you own it. Upgrade at a Blacksmith, the same place where you can Salvage items. The higher quality items you salvage, the better upgrade materials you will receive.
