The DioField Chronicle Update 1.20 introduces new, free content for players to enjoy.
The DioField Chronicle, created by Square Enix, is a strategy-role-playing game released on September 22, 2022, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
While the game received somewhat mixed reviews among professional reviewers and players alike, Square Enix hopes to remedy that with a fairly large update. Version 1.20 will introduce five new missions, two sub-missions, new gear, and brand-new skills.
In the new update, players can now assume the life of Waltaquin Redditch and take on his new missions. As Redditch, players can use his new weapon type, Magic Tomes, which provides Necromancy and Necrotiem skills, like raising Skeletal Knights and transforming other units to Skeletal Dragons. In addition, a new area that players can explore called the Basement (Camp) has been introduced.
If you’ve already beaten the game, you’ll be able to run through it again, but this time on an extra mode called New Game+ and Very Hard difficulty settings. Lastly, a new boss enemy called the Behemoth has been added, and, according to the developers, it is the “most powerful enemy players have faced.”
To get the update, log into the platform you own the game on, and you should automatically download Update 1.20.
