Square Enix has announced the release of Dragon Quest Treasures on PC via Steam. Dragon Quest Treasures takes players on a journey through the childhood adventures of siblings Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
In Dragon Quest Treasures, players will traverse the mysterious world of Draconia alongside Erik and Mia. Accompanied by their adorable companion creatures, Purrsula and Porcus, and a team of recruitable monsters, players will embark on a quest for the seven fabled Dragonstones. The game allows players to utilize the unique abilities of these monsters to discover hidden treasures and access unreachable areas.
The game also features a base defense mechanic where players fend off monsters and rival gangs until they can return to the base to have their treasures appraised. Collecting treasure increases the players’ vault value, enabling them to expand their home base and further build up their brigade of friendly monsters.
To celebrate the launch, players who purchase the Steam version of Dragon Quest Treasures until July 28, 2023, will receive in-game items to aid them in their adventure. These include ten Chimaera Wings, 15 Better Buddy Bullets, and 15 Fullheal Pellets.
Dragon Quest Treasures is now available for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full game download of Dragon Quest Treasures, three monster allies – Great Sabrecat, Ruby Golem, and Icy Dragling – and batches of Bestest Buddy Bullets and Omniheal Bombs.
