Epic Games Store is now offering Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Submerged: Hidden Depths. The Epic Game Store free games of the week will be available until September 8, 2022. They will be taken off the Epic Games Store at 11 a.m. EST.
Tomb Raider is an iconic game franchise that has been around for nearly 30 years. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is the highly-acclaimed 2018 reboot & sequel developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix. Following the events of 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider, in Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, you play as the titular Laura Croft as she weaves her way through the tropics to defeat the violent paramilitary group, Trinity.
Receiving an overall aggregate score of 75 on Metacritic, the game was praised for its fresh take, immersive world, and strong lead protagonist. If you’ve never played a Tomb Raider game in your life, you should. They’ve always been a fun mixture of exploration, puzzle-solving, and action. Not to mention–you get to play as the kickass Laura Croft.

Submerged is a fun open-world exploration and adventure game where you uncover the secrets behind a sunken city. Developed by Uppercut Games and published by Stadia Games and Entertainment, it’s been praised for its beautiful visuals and compelling and immersive storytelling.
