We’re officially here in Week 4 of Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 3. There are 7 weekly challenges to work through this week, and one of the more difficult ones involves knocking down some trees. To complete this challenge, you’ll need to grab a Ripsaw Launcher and fire it at some Timber Pines. Where to Find a Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite
Ripsaw Launcher can be found randomly inside loot boxes, but one of the best spots to find them is at Choppin’ Chateau. The named location is on the very north side of the map, north of Logjam Lotus. There’s a building south of the pier with a red roof. Inside that building are a bunch of Ripsaw Launchers mounted to the wall.
How to Knock Down Timber Pines with a Ripsaw Launcher
To knock down Timber Pines with the Ripsaw Launcher, equip the weapon, hold down the fire button, and release it while looking at a tree. As you hold down fire, the trajectory path will show you exactly where the ripsaw blades will land. For this challenge, players need to knock down 5 Timber Pines.
Luckily, dozens of Timber Pines are directly outside the building with the Ripsaw Launchers. Simply knock down 5 trees of your choice, and you can complete the challenge. Note that there are Timber Pines all over the map. However, you’ll want to knock down the ones that are not snow-covered to get credit for the challenge. The Ripsaw Launcher can sometimes just rip through the tree and destroy it instead of knocking it down.
