Greg Street Announces Plans for Remote Studio and New MMO

The new studio's name and game details are yet to be announced.

Greg “Ghostcrawler” Street, known for his previous positions as Lead System Designer on World of Warcraft and EVP of the LoL MMO project at Riot Games, announced he will be starting a new remote studio.

“Our goal is to move fast and go big,” Street says in a tweet on his personal Twitter account. “I have found a great strategic partner aligned with this vision, and we are moving forward! And yes, it will be an MMO or something very MMO-like.”

The name of Street’s remote studio is yet to be announced, but he’s looking for a group of elite folks to join him on his journey. Interested parties can find Greg on Twitter and LinkedIn to inquire more about potential opportunities. Street says things will be quiet until things get rolling with the new studio, but the plan is to share what the team is working on openly.

Greg Street is a well-respected veteran of the gaming industry, perhaps best known for his open communication, transparency, and responsiveness to the gaming community, particularly back in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King days.

After working as Lead Systems Designer for World of Warcraft from February 2008 to December 2013, Street went on to work at Riot Games, where he held several titles, including Head of Creative Development, VP of IP and Entertainment, and, most recently, VP/EP for the upcoming MMO project.

We’re excited to see what the new studio has in store for us, and we can’t wait to get on our hands on a fresh new MMO.
