If you never got a chance to play the Metroidvania-style action game, Guacamelee, now is your chance.
It can be hard to stay up-to-date with all the latest gaming deals and offers, so it’s understandable if you forgot that Epic Games regularly gives out free titles every month. After all, it’s a pretty mixed bag, and sometimes the titles are, well, pretty lackluster. Luckily, they surprise us occasionally with a solid title, and we are doing so this week with Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Guacamelee 2 are free via the Epic Games Store.
If you’re not aware of what the games are all about, both the first and second games follow the story of Juan Aguacate, an agave farmer who finds a Legendary Luchador mask that gives him immense strength and wrestling ability. The game is a side-scrolling platformer developed by DrinkBox Studios. By staying faithful to Mexican lore and tradition, the game grew to be a fan and critic favorite.

To get the game, launch the Epic Games platform, then scroll down on the home screen and select the titles to add the games to your library. Alternatively, you can visit the Epic Games website for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Guacamelee! 2 to add the games to your Epic Games library.
