So, we wanted to go over the toughest challenges and how Players can clear them without pulling their hair out. Here’s our comprehensive Haunted by Daylight Tome challenges guide.

If you’re unsure how to transfer Void Energy, see our guide here.

Haunted by Daylight Tome Challenges Guide

The Haunted by Daylight Tome Challenges are separated into 2 levels. Level 2 boasts Killer and Survivor Challenges you must complete. To finish the challenges, bring appropriate Perks and Items and keep track of what you need to do in each game.

To see a breakdown of each challenge, continue reading.

Level 1 Haunted by Daylight Challenges

Void Virtuous: Survivor Challenge

To complete the Void Virtuous Survivor Challenge, transfer a total 15 Void Energy into Unstable Rifts.

Survivors can play it safe and make several smaller deposits. They can also bring Exhaustion Perks, including Sprint Burst from Meg Thomas and Balanced Landing from Nea Karlsson, to escape chases more easily and keep their held Void Energy.

Bronze Run: Master Challenge

To complete the Bronze Run Master Challenge, earn 4 Emblems of Bronze Quality or better in a single Trial.

Variety is key. Whether Killer or Survivor, Survivors need a Bronze Emblem in each of the 4 categories. Survivors must work on generators, avoid dying, help their allies, and escape chases.

Killers must protect generators, hook Survivors, deal damage, and win chases. Bring a balanced loadout that helps with all these tasks for the best results.

Level 2 Haunted by Daylight Challenges

Strategic Alliance: Survivor Challenge

To complete the Strategic Alliance Survivor Challenge, perform a Cooperative Action for 90 seconds.

Cooperative Actions are anything a Survivor works on with another Survivor. Generator Repairs are the easiest way to do this. Find Survivors to work with using Perks like Bond from Dwight Fairfield and Empathy from Claudette Morel.

Rust & Blood: Killer Master Challenge

To complete the Rust & Blood Killer Master Challenge, hook all 4 different Survivors in a single trial.

Killers that find a Survivor good at running shouldn’t chase them, at least not yet. Instead, get downs and hooks on the weaker Survivors. Eventually, the runner will have to help, and the Killer can fight them on their terms.

Machinist: Survivor Master Challenge

To complete the Machinist Survivor Master Challenge, finish repairing 2 generators in a single Trial.

The Challenge says to “finish repairing,” so helping on almost-done Generators counts. Find Generators in progress and use Prove Thyself from Dwight or a Toolbox Item to speed up the remaining repairs.

Community: Huge Deposit: Master Challenge

To complete the Community: Huge Deposit Master Challenge, deposit 15 Void Energy into a single Unstable Rift.

Unlike Void Virtuous, playing safe won’t work. Also, unlike Void Virtuous, Killers can complete this Challenge. Hooking a single Survivor is worth 5 Void Energy, with more if they’re holding any Void Energy when they’re downed.

Killers also have less to worry about losing Void Energy; Stuns mainly come from pallets and lockers, and Blinds can be stopped entirely with the Lightborn perk from The Hillbilly.

Community: Open the Rift: Master Challenge

To complete the Community Open the Rift Master Challenge, deposit 30 Void Energy into Unstable Rifts in a single Trial.

Either role can complete this Challenge. All that matters is depositing 30 Void Energy in total throughout one Trial. Survivors and Killers should make sure not to earn more Void Energy if they hit the carrying cap of 15. Players can only earn so much throughout a typical Trial, so they should deposit ASAP if this happens.

We hope Players find these tips helpful in clearing the Haunted by Daylight Tome Challenges. There are still 13 days to clear the challenges, so don’t get discouraged.
