Hollow Knight Silksong: Confirmed for PlayStation 4 and 5

Sharpen your needles

Hollow Knight, the Metroidvania game from Team Cherry, is an indie classic, selling millions of copies since its release on PC in 2017, according to Ari Gibson, co-director of Team Cherry. The game has since launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong, is currently in development as fans eagerly await its release since being announced in February 2019. According to a tweet from the official PlayStation Twitter, Hollow Knight Silksong is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5.

Earlier this year, it was announced by Xbox that Hollow Knight: Silksong would be an Xbox Game Pass day one release.

Now, PlayStation gamers can rejoice as they, too, have the opportunity to battle deadly enemies, search for allies, and uncover mysteries as Horney, the princess-protector of Hallownest.

As for a Hollow Knight Silksong release date, we don’t have any information as the team is staying tight-lipped.

Which is probably for the best–it’ll be ready when it’s ready. One cannot simply rush a masterpiece.
