HoYoverse, developers of the popular RPGs Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, has another game in the works. Honkai: Star Rail is an upcoming free-to-play single-player RPG for mobile devices and PC. The project first entered closed beta testing back in October 2021, followed by another one in May of the following year. Players looking to get in on the Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta have one last opportunity, and it’s through Twitch Drops.
How to Get Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta Access
To access the Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta, you must visit the official event page at HoYoverse, link your Hoyoverse and Twitch accounts, and watch a participating streamer for a chance to get a CBT Drop. The Twitch Drops begin at midnight EST on February 10, 2023.
After visiting the page, you’ll need to sign in using your Hoyoverse account or create one if you don’t already have one from Genshin Impact or Honkai Impact. Then, you will need to sign in and authorize your Twitch account connection with Hoyoverse. Finally, you’ll need to click the Link and Activate Twitch Drops button.
After following the steps to link your Hoyoverse and Twitch accounts and activate Drops, players will need to watch any of the participating Honkai: Star Rail channels on Twitch. Look for streamers that have CBT Drops Enabled in the Honkai: Star Rail directory.
Pre-registration for Honkai: Star Rail will begin on the App Store and Google Play on February 10, 2023.
The Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta is exclusive to PC players at this time, and begins on February 10, 2023. The end date is yet to be announced, but we estimate it will last between one to three weeks. Honkai: Star Rail is scheduled to release in 2023, with the official launch date to be announced.
