Glimmering Core is a character enhancement material in Honkai Star Rail, which means you’ll need it to level up various characters in the game. If you’re looking to ascend specific characters past level 40, there’s a good possibility you lack the Glimmering Core. This guide will explain how to get Glimmering Core in Honkai Star Rail.
How to Get Glimmering Core in Honkai Star Rail
Glimmering Core can be obtained through:
- Flamespawns in Breakwater Pass (requires Equilibrium Level 2+)
- Flamespawns in Rivet Town (requires Equilibrium Level 2+)
- Material Synthesis at the Omni-Synthesizer
- Material Exchange at the Omni-Synthesizer
- Simulated Universe Enemies
Perhaps the easiest way to get Glimmering Core is by using the Omni-Synthesizer’s Material Synthesis. Using the Omni-Synthesizer, you can exchange 3 Extinguished Core for 1 Glimmering Core.
Extinguished Cores can be obtained easily through the Assignments tab. That’s the screen where you dispatch two characters to fetch materials for you, and it’s found on the Character Materials tab of the Assignments menu.
You can also exchange materials for Glimmering Core using the Omni-Synthesizer. However, the conversion recipe is two equivalent materials for one Glimmering Core. Therefore, it’s inefficient unless you have lots of other extra materials.
Aside from that, after you complete your Equilibrium Level 2 trial at Level 30, you’ll start receiving Glimmering Core from various enemies in areas like Breakwater Pass and Rivet Town. You can also find some by killing enemies in the Simulated Universe.
