House of the Gundead is an Actual Arcade Cabinet Coming to Arcades

Fans nostalgic for a light-gun shooter will be getting it via House of the Gundead, a new arcade cabinet and game created by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital.

The popular game, Enter the Gungeon is entering a new phase with a new title made specifically for arcades. Developers Dodge Roll collaborated with arcade gurus, Griffin Aerotech to develop and design a full-featured cabinet on a 43-inch UHD display.

The game will be a lightgun game, where up to two players can blast away at the evil demons lurking in the game. With procedurally generated levels, players must gather unique powerups, weapons, and secret items to take on the Cult of the Gundead.

“We announced it at E3. And everybody couldn’t tell if it was a joke or not. Turns out, it’s not a joke.”

Philip Golobish, Producer, House of the Gundead
