How to Get Relics in Honkai Star Rail

Here's how to get Relics in Honkai Star Rail.

Relics are an essential part of building up characters in Honkai Star Rail. There are two types of Relics: Core Relics and Planar Ornaments. The former consists of Head, Arm, Body, and Leg pieces and awards two- and four-piece set bonuses. Planar Ornaments are separate from Core Relics and can only be equipped in two slots, providing two-piece set bonuses. In this guide, we’ll explain where and how to get Relics in Honkai Star Rail.

How to Get Relics in Honkai Star Rail

Relics are primarily obtained through completing the Cavern of Corrosion and Simulated Universe. Cavern of Corrosion is the best spot to farm Core Relics, while the later stages of Simulated Universe are good for farming Planar Ornaments. Relics may also be obtained randomly throughout the game by completing missions, opening chests, and defeating enemies.

Cavern of Corrosion is unlocked by completing the main storyline quest, “Cleanse in the Darkness Outside,” at Level 24. Once completed, the Caverns of Corrosion teleporter will open and, like Calyxes, will be available through the Interstellar Guide’s Survival Index tab.

Players can also craft Relics through the in-game Synthesize system. Dismantling Relics will reward remains, which can be used to Synthesize a new Relic of any type. 100

There’s also an item called Self-Modeling Resin in Honkai Star Rail, which allows players to customize the main stats of a selected Relic. The quality of life item, obtainable in the Battle Pass, allows players to tailor a Relic to a specific character by altering the main stat.
