Dome Keeper is a base-building roguelike game where players must defend their Dome against waves of incoming monsters. Your goal is to dig down beneath your Dome to collect resources and purchase upgrades between waves of attacks. Time is key, and so is keeping your Dome from being shattered. In this guide, we’ll give you a quick rundown of how to repair your Dome in Done Keeper.
How to Repair the Dome in Dome Keeper
To repair the Dome in Dome Keeper, go to the upgrades tab on your computer terminal, and purchase the Cobalt Repair upgrade for one Cobalt. Each time you purchase this upgrade, it will automatically repair your Dome for 80 health points and 15% total health.
Before purchasing Cobalt Repair, you must purchase the Health Meter upgrade for one yellow resource. Buying the Health Meter upgrade unlocks the path to the Cobalt Repair node.
It’s important that you only purchase the repair upgrade when you actually need it. You can view your Health Meter on the bottom left of the screen–highlighting the Cobalt Repair upgrade will give you an idea of how much health will be restored.
If you manage to find a few Cobalt nodes, it’s worth buying Hardening 1, Hardening 2, Hardening 3, etc., unless you really need to repair your Dome at any given moment. Again, just keep an eye on your Dome’s health at the bottom left.
The Hardening upgrade hardens the dome surface to take less damage from monsters’ melee hits. It does not affect projectile damage, but the upgrade allows you to focus your laser more on ranged units, while your Electro Blast can slow down and kill the melee units.
