IO Interactive Expands with New Studio in Brighton, UK

IO Interactive, the video game developer and publisher known for the Hitman and Freedom Fighters franchises, is expanding its global footprint.

The core team at IOI Brighton is already in place, nestled in the heart of Brighton on England’s picturesque south coast. In line with IOI’s development philosophy of working on any project from any studio, the Brighton team will contribute to developing Project 007, the first James Bond origin story.

IOI’s teams across all studios in Copenhagen, Malmö, Barcelona, and Istanbul are pouring their creativity into the iconic James Bond universe. The new team at IOI Brighton will join these efforts. All five IOI studios are making significant contributions to the development and publishing efforts of all games currently in active development: Project 007Project Fantasy, and HITMAN.

Brighton, known for its beautiful beach and iconic pier, is one of the UK’s cultural and artistic hubs. IOI Brighton’s central location makes it a standout choice for relocation within the UK.

Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive said:

We are extremely proud and excited to open our next studio in Brighton, where we see enormous potential to expand our incredible team and attract the very best talent from the exciting UK development scene.

Currently, the studio is looking to staff operations and is seeking a Gameplay Director, Animation Tech Programmer, among other roles. For more information, visit the IO Interactive website
