Global publisher HOOK and indie developer Overflow have announced the full release of their acrobatic, rogue-lite shooter, Madshot, on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Following a successful Early Access period on Steam, the game is now fully available for $19.99 for a limited time.
Madshot is a fast-paced, acrobatic, rogue-lite shooter that takes players on a thrilling journey through the untold horrors of Cthulhu. Players are tasked with surviving an ever-changing road filled with horrific monsters and multi-phased boss battles. The game offers endless upgrade combinations, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same.

The game’s story revolves around a character who, in their quest for eternal life, dabbles in the occult and summons forces beyond their understanding. This reckless action results in the mighty Cthulhu swallowing their city whole.
Madshot features over 50 hideous enemies and menacing bosses, a varied arsenal of weapons, and more than 200 upgrades that allow players to customize their play style. The game’s world is procedurally generated, offering a new exploration and discovery experience with each playthrough.
Madshot is now available globally via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
Originally released in Early Access via Steam on June 9, 2022, the game currently sits with a Very Positive review rating.
