Mario Strikers: Battle League is an upcoming five-on-five soccer game for the Nintendo Switch. In true Nintendo fashion, players can choose from a variety of famous characters from the Mario series, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, and others. Each character has unique skills and can be equipped with gear to boost stats and appearance. Below is a full list of known playable characters in Mario Strikers Battle League.
The official squad lineup was posted on the NintendoUK Twitter account. More characters may release post-launch, as is usually the case with Nintendo titles, so we’ll have to wait and see what else they have in store.
Mario Strikers Battle League Characters
These are the playable characters that will be available in Mario Strikers: Battle League at launch:

- Peach
- Rosalina
- Toad
- Yoshi
- Donkey Kong
- Wario
- Waluigi
- Bowser
In addition to these ten characters, Nintendo also revealed the opening cinematic for the game. The overview trailer showcases some live gameplay along with the opening cinematic and character customization options.
Mario Strikers: Battle League is the latest entry for the Mario Strikers franchise, which first began in 2005 with the release of Super Mario Strikers. Battle League is being developed by Next Level Games, as it has been since the inception of the series. It marks the third game in the series:
